Goals for the week #1

I am a list maker. There is some sort of magic in them. If I write it in a list, I usually try to do it. If I don’t, I sit on the couch reading books and not folding laundry. I am trying to expand my horizons and try new things. So I’m going to try something new. Occasionally, I will share my try-new-things- goals for the week, and then after the week is over, update you on my progress.

  1.  Break out my bread machine and actually try it again. I have had a gigantic heavy bread machine, just taking up space, but what is more tasty then fresh home made bread. I tried it once to make a whole grain loaf years ago, and I don’t know what I did wrong, but the bread came out like a rock. It could have been used as a weapon to protect myself in case of a burglary. So now it’s time to dust it off and try again.
  2. Declutter! Okay, so this is nothing new, but it is a necessity. Everywhere I look there is stuff and more stuff. Some is even the ex’s stuff that he left for me to deal with. So, I’m going to declutter my house and hopefully my life.
  3. Do something fun and special with the kiddo. I have a few ideas, look for me to share later this week.
  4. Find a supplemental source of income. Etsy shop? Reselling on ebay and online yard sales? Mama needs a new pair of shoes. Literally. Teddy, my dog, ate a hole in my sneakers.

So that is it for now. I honestly feel tempted to add about a hundred more things but I want to actually make this list manageable and possible to tackle. Do you have any goals for the week?
