I love the fall time. Especially once you get back into the groove of school, work, play, repeat. The weekends feel like a luxury. I try to stretch them out and enjoy them as much as possible. The week before Halloween, we had yet to get our pumpkins still. Normally, I am right on the game, but the boyfriend has been working all weekend long so it was kind of difficult. Turns out it was good that we waited. A kind of local farm ran a special on pumpkins. All of the them were three dollars a piece no matter what kind or size. That is a great deal, because it isn’t unheard of to pay for a fifteen dollar pumpkin at a lot of places that charge by the pound! So although it was a little bit of a trip, we piled into my very messy (that reminds me I totally have to clean it) car and headed there!
Perfect fall setting. Mums, apple cider donuts, gourds, and lots and lots of pumpkins!
It is really nice to have the boyfriend doing all this stuff with us this year. We are quickly approaching the year mark of living together. But the building of memories is the best part.
We quickly gave Logan this pumpkin to take a picture. This is his hurry up and take a picture mom face! BUT funnily enough this is the pumpkin he ended up choosing and it was seriously perfect!
There were hundreds and hundreds to choose from of all shapes, colors, and sizes. I think this will be a yearly tradition.
Before we left, we check out the other goodies that they had. On the way home we talked about what we were going to do with our pumpkins, and Logan snacked on a donut in the car. A great time was had by all!
Great pics! Looks like fun! (Your son is so adorable!!)
