I am so excited for Christmas that part of me doesn’t want to meal plan at all. I want to just eat junk food until the day of and then live on leftovers for a few days. But I know the best thing to do is to figure out what I want for dinners in advance to make this next week a little less hectic. I still need to wrap ALL the things and bake ALL the cookies and look at ALL the Christmas lights. So here is what’s coming up food wise this week!
Monday: Pizza night. I made the most awesome pizza dough in my bread maker last week. It is an herb dough and it made two batches with relatively no work!
Tuesday: I’m thinking something like chicken fajitas or tacos. I heart Mexican food!
Wednesday: New recipe: Crockpot Chicken gnocchi soup
Thursday: Leftovers
Friday: Christmas dinner! Spiral ham, twice baked potatoes, salad, home made applesauce!
Saturday: Leftovers
Sunday: Leftovers
I know that this week is lots of leftovers, but in the long run it is saving money for me. I sometimes reinvent leftovers into something new, but honestly, I don’t mind eating leftovers exactly the same way over and over again.
